Grand Theft Auto 6 debut trailer broke several records on YouTube

The GTA 6 trailer from Rockstar Games has already surpassed the number of views of the Grand Theft Auto 5 trailer, reaching 104 million views in less than two days.

The long -awaited debut trailer, whose premiere was supposed to take place on December 5, but was earlier after the leak, had just overcame a colossal mark of 103 million views. And although by any standards this is a lot, the new trailer went around the number of views announcing the GTA 5 trailer, which needed 12 years to gain 100 million views.

The GTA 6 trailer, which again represents Miami fans, Vice City, as well as the fictional state of Leonid (Florida), has already walked around some strong rivals in the number of views. So, in just 15 hours, he scored more views than trailers Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild combined together.

Each of them gained 28.6 million, 23.1 million and 16.1 million views, respectively. For comparison: the GTA 6 trailer is also ahead of the Hogwarts Legacy with 34.2, Baldur’s Gate 3 with 2.7, Final Fantasy 16 with 4.6, Resident Evil 4 with 3.1, God of War Ragnarok with 19.4 and Spider- MAN 2 with 30.8 million.

In fact, the GTA 6 trailer broke several records on YouTube. Official account X/Twitter "Guinness Books" confirmed that it was

• The most baked game trailer for 24 hours – 9.2 million likes.

• The most viewed game trailer in the first 24 hours is 90.4 million views.

• The most popular video in 24 hours (excluding music). The last record previously belonged to the MR video.Beast, which in 24 hours collected 59.4 million views.

Despite the fact that the release date of the game for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S was named 2025, PC players were disappointed with the fact that their platform remained outside the list.

But not only they were a little upset: several developers from Rockstar itself went to social networks to express their discontent about the early leakage of the trailer. In fact, the whole industry shared its disappointment by the fact that the exciting moment was overshadowed.
